She believes it’s vital to treat the kid like any other normal kid and encourage him to do whatever they like. Comparing or being too overprotective can make them feel the need to be protected and hesitant to take on adventures. It is the family’s support and perspective that will eventually help the kid grow and come out of the mentality of lacking something. Ryan’s family has been very supportive and loves him.
